Oneplus Pad 2 is a huge upgrade to Dimensity 9000 chipset and Adreno 720 GPU which use the previous Oneplus pad. Oneplus Pad 2 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Processor and an AnTuTu Score of 1,958,598.
For Gaming, Oneplus Pad 2 has a powerful Adreno 750 GPU to ensure handles high graphics mobile games like BGMI 90fps, Call of Duty 120fps, and Genshin 60fps.
The Oneplus Pad 2 runs on OxygenOS 14.1 based on Android 14 and offers a clean and user-friendly interface like the Oneplus Pad. OnePlus Pad 2 has smart AI gaming features like HyperBoost aids in heat management and helps to maintain performance over extended usage periods.
Oneplus Pad 2 RAM and Storage
OnePlus Pad 2 has high-performance 8/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128/256GB UFS-3.1 storage is good for gaming and multitasking. But under 40,000 price UFS-4.0 is best for gaming and multitasking.
This high-performance RAM and Storage reduces throttling issues, and loading time, consumes less battery energy, and has more power-saving capabilities providing smooth gaming performance.

OnePlus Pad 2 Network Connectivity and Audio Quality
OnePlus Pad 2 is mainly designed for home and office work. It has strong Wi-Fi 7 support ensuring a high range of Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth V5.4 connection. During gameplay indoor gameplay time I do not feel any network connection issues.
- Audio Quality:- OnePlus improved its audio Quality on the new Oneplus Pad 2 it has a 6-speaker setup and Hi-Res Audio certificate Ensuring high-quality audio sound and an Omnibearing sound field to create a wide-range audio experience.
Overall, the OnePlus Pad 2 audio quality is excellent making it a great choice for watching movies, listening to music, or playing games.
OnePlus Pad 2 Additional Gaming Feature

OnePlus Pad 2 BGMI Gameplay Test
- Oneplus pad 2 one hour Smooth + Extreme (90fps) setting TDM match gameplay delivered impressive performance and frame rate 89-87fps.
- During 1 hour of gameplay, I did not feel any lag or heating issues, and delivered excellent performance.
- Second 30 minutes Smooth + Extreme (90fps) setting classic match Erangle maps gameplay runs smoothly and Gyroscope properly works.
- The frame rate Dropped 60-70fps and maintained 85-82fps and no lag but the heating issues were noticeable.
- OnePlus Pad 2 highest setting HDR + Extreme(60fps) gameplay is smooth and the frame rate is 55-51fps but sometimes fps drop 34-35 and it quickly recovers.
- After one hour of gameplay battery drains 21% and we notice some heating problems.
Overall OnePlus Pad 2 is not made for gaming but BGMI runs smoothly and the Gyroscope smoothly works.
OnePlus Pad 2 COD And Genshin Impact Game Test
- COD:- OnePlus Pad 2 Call of Duty’s lowest (120fps) setting runs smoothly and the frame rate is 116-112fps.
- The Max(90fps) setting game runs smoothly. During gameplay time I did not feel any lag or heating issues and delivered excellent performance.
- Genshin Impact:- Oneplus Pad 2 highly optimized Genshin Impact game gameplay supports 60fps and maintains 59-58fps.
- But OnePlus Pad 2 does not support 90fps gameplay, one update it runs 90fps and in gameplay time I do not feel any lag.
Overall Oneplus Pad 2 Call of Duty and Genshin Impact Game smoothly run and no lag. I do not feel heavy lagging issues but some heating problems were noticed.
OnePlus Pad 2 Battery Quality Test
- Oneplus Pad 2 has a high-capacity Li-Po 9510mAh battery and a 67W SUPERVOOC charger included in the box.
- One hour of heavy gaming battery drains 21%, so BGMI gameplay is easily supported for 5 hours. Day-to-day social media users like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Netflix use it easily back a full day.
OnePlus claims the OnePlus Pad 2 can charge the battery 0 to 64% in just 30 minutes and fully charge it in 81 minutes with official 68W SUPERVOOC charger, which is almost true with some minor deviations in minutes.

- Immersive Audio: Loud and clear speakers provide excellent sound quality.
- Gaming Mode: The OnePlus Pad 2 has a dedicated gaming mode that optimizes performance and reduces battery and loading time.
Negativity: cons
- Heating Issues: The OnePlus Pad 2 heating management is weak, and gaming time is easily wormed.
- UFS-3.1 Storage:- The OnePlus Pad 2 has UFS-3.1 storage not for good gaming.
Final Verdict
OnePlus Pad 2 offers an excellent gaming tablet and its performance or amazing. When it comes to gaming it has a large display, long battery capacity, a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, an improved audio system, and high-quality RAM making it a powerful gaming tablet.
