The Poco Pad 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and 10,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support. But this Poco pad delivered good gaming performance?
In this post, I will cover the Poco Pad 5G game test performance in real life. I tested games like BGMI, Free Fire, and Call of Duty.

- RAM:- Poco Pad 5G has high-quality 8GB LPDDR4X RAM is good for day-to-day casual BGMI gaming. This RAM consumes less battery energy and more power-saving capability.
- Storage:- Poco Pad 5G has 256GB UFS-2.2 storage but this price is not good. At this price, UFS-3.1 is easily available. UFS-3.1 supports fast file transfer, copy-pasting, and data consumption. When you transfer files from one device to another device its speed is high.
Overall, Poco Pad 5G uses high-quality LPDDR4X RAM but the UFS-2.2 storage type is not expected in this 23,999 price in India.

Poco Pad 5G BGMI supports 60fps but averages 35-40fps, Free Fire supports 60fps, and Call of Duty supports 60fps because it is not made for heavy gaming.

- Poco Pad 5G one hour Smooth + ultra (60fps) setting TDM match gameplay delivered average performance and frame rate 51-54fps.
- During 1 hour of gameplay, I felt lag or heating issues and delivered an average performance.
- Second 30 minutes Highest setting HD + High classic match Erangle maps gameplay delivered lower performance.
- During 30 minutes Highest setting, gameplay delivered an average of 35-48fps phone lag, and No heating issues were noticed.
Overall, Poco Pad 5G is not made for gaming but BGMI’s lowest setting gives an average performance, and one hour of BGMI gameplay battery drains 24%. I notice lag and heating issues during gameplay time.
Fire and Call of Duty Gaming Test
- Free Fire: Poco Pad 5G free fire supports 60fps and provides an average gaming experience. consistently maintained a 54-57fps frame rate, without lag.
- Call of Duty: Poco Pad 5G Call of Duty supports 60fps and delivers a lower gaming experience.
- one-hour gameplay time high of 45 fps and a minimum of 37 fps. I noticed Throttle issues during gameplay time.
Overall, this real-world BGMI, Call of Duty, and Free mobile test performance is average. This phone is designed for casual work not for gaming and multitasking.

Poco Pad 5G One-hour gameplay battery drains 24%, you can non-stop play games and heavily multitask for up to 4 hours easily backup. For normal day-to-day life use like social media and web browsing it can at least one day’s backup easily.
The 20 Fast charging takes 0-100% charge in 1 Hour 30 Minutes. So, the Poco Pad 5G has an average battery for casual gaming.

If you found a value for money Tablet this Poco Pad 5G is not for you. If you afford 35,000 My suggestion is the OnePlus Pad 2 it has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and more AI features.
